Waterloo Greenway Conservancy is a non-profit organization whose mission is to create and maintain an extraordinary urban park system and a restored Waller Creek, in partnership with the City of Austin, for the benefit of all. The Conservancy renews the natural environment, promotes play, health and wellness, economic vitality and mobility, and engages the community through outreach, education, cultural events, and the arts.

The first phase of Waterloo Greenway, Waterloo Park, has been steadily taking shape between Red River and Trinity Streets and 12th and 15th Streets. Behind the construction fence, grass has been laid, plants are abundant, playscapes are installed and the new 5,000-capacity Moody Amphitheater is nearing completion. As Waterloo Park prepares for its grand opening in spring 2021, the Waterloo Greenway Conservancy and the City of Austin eagerly look forward to welcoming the community to 11 acres of greenspace and 1.5 miles of hike-and-bike trails.
